Shadia Hassan

Shadia Hassan has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Shadia started their career as a Human Resources Administrator/Assistant at LEC in 2015 and worked there until 2019. Shadia then joined Plan International UK in 2020 as a Human Resources Assistant, where they gained experience in HR policies, communications, and payroll processing. Shadia joined Runa in 2021, first as a People & Talent Coordinator and later transitioning to the role of People Partner in 2022. In their current role, they work closely with leaders in Engineering, Product, and Finance teams, focusing on areas such as performance management, learning & development, and employee relations. Shadia collaborates with the wider HR team to implement the organization's people strategy, advises managers on policies and best practices, and oversees the delivery of people projects during major business change programs.

Shadia Hassan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences, General, which they obtained from The University of Sheffield between 2016 and 2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resource Management CIPD Level 7 at the University of Westminster. Shadia'sexpected completion date for the Master's degree is 2024.
