Julia Vismann

Julia Vismann has extensive experience in broadcasting and media, currently serving as the host of the podcast "Wissenschaft und Politik im Gespräch" at the Forschungsinstitut für Nachhaltigkeit since April 2024. Vismann also contributes to the Wissen Impossible podcast at ARD and has been a long-term editor, reporter, and moderator at radioeins rbb since August 1996, focusing on sustainable future ideas in the Thursday for Future segment. Additionally, Vismann hosts the Wissenschaftspodcast Talking Science for Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg and has moderated various events, including the Umweltfestival and discussions on evolving language during the Corona pandemic at the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. Vismann's past roles include reporting for Wissenschaft im Dialog and serving as a moderator for the Deutscher Bundestag Parlamentsfernsehen. Academic qualifications include dual M.A. degrees in Filmwissenschaft from Freie Universität Berlin and Ruhr University Bochum.
