J Mendes

J Mendes has an extensive work experience in the events and hospitality industry. In 2017, they co-founded the sustainable nomadism lifestyle blog No Footprint Nomads. In 2018, they co-founded No Footprint Events, where they served as an events consultant for small and medium size companies. In 2019, they co-founded the remote work revolution event Future of Work. In 2020, they co-organized Greenfest and Bluefest and was the co-founder of Eco Hotel Summit and the sustainable hospitality professionals events. In 2021, they became an ambassador for Nomads Giving Back! and an event manager for repeople.co. In 2022, they became the operations manager for Running Remote and an ambassador for Island Innovation.

J Mendes obtained a Master of Science in Operations Management - Logistics from Chalmers University of Technology between 2002 and 2004. J also obtained a Licenciate in Industrial Economics and Management from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto between 1997 and 2003, as well as an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade do Porto between 1997 and 2003.
