Melissa J. Gonzalez

Melissa J. Gonzalez is an experienced performer and creative professional based in New York City. Currently serving as an Improv Host at Running Subway Productions since March 2022, Melissa engages and entertains guests at RiseNY. With a diverse background, Melissa has been self-employed since October 2008, working as an actor, singer, performer, and freelance makeup artist. Additional experience includes roles in luxury retail with POURED, guest experience at the Museum of Ice Cream, and various positions in events and exhibitions such as Harry Potter: The Exhibition and Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience. Melissa holds a 2-year degree in Musical Theatre from the New York Film Academy and has completed musical theatre training at Misi Escuela de Teatro Musical, along with makeup artistry certification from Collège Inter-Dec in Montréal.
