Omar Rasheed

Omar Rasheed is a Product Development Engineer at Runway Safe, a position held since May 2022. Previously, Omar served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Notre Dame from August 2020 to May 2022, focusing on the analysis of human mechanics related to slow walking and its impact on walking kinematics and kinetics. Between September 2012 and August 2020, Omar worked as a Photogrammetry/LiDAR Specialist at Williams Aerial & Mapping, where responsibilities included ensuring accurate mapping specifications and analyzing equipment data failures. Omar holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Communications from Holy Cross College. Additionally, Omar has completed two years of study in Industrial Engineering at the University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq.
