Ayesha Mahajan

Ayesha Mahajan is the current Accounting/HR/Ops at Runway. Ayesha has previously worked as a Finance and Accounting Manager at Hipmunk from January 2013 to December 2015. During their time at Hipmunk, they were the sole accountant in company for 6+ months after Controller’s departure and successfully led cross-functional team launch of Hipmunk Swag Store. Ayesha was responsible for full month/quarter/year end close processes and prepared monthly financials in accordance with GAAP. Ayesha also collaborated with auditors and lead company through successful first year audit, managed and trained staff accountant, implemented and documented internal control procedures for A/P, A/R, and various other policies. Ayesha filed all 1099s, local, state, and federal tax forms, and collaborated with Engineering, Marketing, and SEO teams to manage their monthly budgets and contracts.

Ayesha Mahajan's educational career is marked by their undergraduate studies in accountancy at the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Ayesha Mahajan reports to Austin Hay, Head of Operations, Go to Market. They work with Anna Conaway - Customer Experience Manager, Alex Forman - Head of Talent Acquisition, and Kelsey - Go To Market & Customer Experience Manager.
