Sharon Dayoung Lee has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2018 as a HCII Design Research Assistant at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute in Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science. In 2019, they worked as a Product Design Intern at Carnegie Learning. In 2020, they were a Graduate Assistant at the School of Visual Arts, a Product Designer (Sponsored Project) at Doblin, and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, they are a Product Design Intern at VMware and a Product Designer at Runway. At Runway, they are working on next-generation content creation with artificial intelligence.
Sharon Dayoung Lee holds a Bachelor of Design from Carnegie Mellon University, which they completed in 2020. Sharon Dayoung then went on to pursue a Master of Fine Arts - MFA in Interaction Design from the School of Visual Arts, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
