Petro Silenius

Petro Silenius has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and IT consulting. Petro started their career as a Junior Frontend Developer at Lyyti in May 2019 and later became a Frontend Developer. Petro then served as an Interim Scrum Master and contributed to the technical rebuilding of the B2B SaaS event management product. Petro also worked as a PM thesis worker, where they focused on improving user research practices for product management decisions. In 2015, they joined P & P Silenius Oy as an IT Consultant, where they developed B2C websites and assisted in business planning. In November 2020, Petro founded Dataatti Oy with two university friends and served as CEO and Founder, providing user-driven software solutions to customers. Most recently, they joined Ruokaboksi as the Lead Developer in March 2023. Throughout their career, Petro has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a focus on improving engineering practices and user experience.

Petro Silenius has a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Turku, which they obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General at the same university from 2017 to 2020. Before starting their higher education, Petro attended Salon lukio, where they earned their High School Diploma in General Studies from 2014 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Petro has obtained two additional certifications. In June 2022, they completed the "Kasvutarinat hyvään hallitustyöhön" certification from Tekniikan akateemiset TEK. Earlier, in November 2021, they obtained the "Event Success Management Certification" from Lyyti.
