Cody Kay

Cody Kay serves as the Associate General Counsel for Rural King Farm & Home Store since March 2018, managing a legal team and overseeing compliance while handling corporate counsel responsibilities, particularly in employment and HR litigation. Prior to this role, Cody Kay worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General's Office from January 2014 to March 2018, managing a substantial caseload and handling case intake procedures. Earlier experience includes serving as a Law Clerk at Brandenburg-Rees & Rees, where valuable legal documents were drafted and researched, and as a Property Manager and Leasing Agent at Campus Property Management, successfully leasing multiple properties. Cody Kay holds a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
