Andrew Merker

Andrew Merker is a seasoned pharmacy professional with a focus on substance use disorder. As the Founder of PharmAssist Services Hub, LLC since January 2024, Andrew provides organizational support through policy development, workflow review, staff education, and medication procurement, while also collaborating with community leaders to promote awareness of naloxone and proper medication disposal. Currently, Andrew holds positions as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at UChicago Medicine and as a Clinical Pharmacist on the Substance Use Intervention Team at Rush University System for Health. Previous roles include Clinical Pharmacist in Addiction Medicine at West Suburban Medical Center and Associate Professor at Midwestern University. Andrew's extensive training includes a Doctor of Pharmacy from Midwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
