Jerry Kremer is a seasoned attorney and public advocate with extensive experience in both legal and governmental sectors. Since January 1992, Jerry has served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Hofstra University and has been a Member of the Zucker Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine since March 2018. Jerry has held the position of Chairman at the New York Affordable Reliable Energy Alliance since March 2005 and serves as a Partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., where expertise includes government experience and corporate counsel. As President of Empire Government Strategies, Jerry facilitated the acquisition of over $6.3 million in grants for clients in 2015. Jerry previously served as Chairman of the Council of Governing Boards from April 2016 to April 2021, representing 131 private colleges in New York. A former New York State Assembly member from January 1966 to December 1989, Jerry was Chair of the Ways and Means Committee and is known for authoring significant legislation, including the automobile "Lemon Law." Jerry holds a JD in Taxation from Brooklyn Law School and has further education from New York University and NYU Stern School of Business.
