Tom Pitera

Tom Pitera is an experienced executive with a strong track record in operational leadership and P&L responsibility across multiple industries. Currently serving as Non Executive Chairman at Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment and as Operating Partner at Blue Point Capital Partners since November 2015, Tom has held significant roles including President and COO at American Tire Distributors, where the focus was on strategic business repositioning to drive revenue growth. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Unisource World Wide, Fisher Scientific, and Agilysys, where Tom oversaw large teams and substantial annual sales. Tom's career began at GE in the Semiconductor Division, contributing to sales expansion and channel management. An alumnus of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Tom brings extensive expertise in managing complex operations and achieving sustained growth.
