Erika E. Aquino Costa

Erika E. Aquino Costa has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Erika is currently the Head of Finance & Operations at Russell Reynolds Associates, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at McKinsey & Company from December 2017 to October 2021 as a Finance and Accounting Team Leader. In this role, they coordinated the finance, accounting, and tax teams, ensuring compliance with internal policies and Brazilian tax laws. Erika also maintained a strong relationship with the Global Shared Service team and oversaw inter-company balances and transactions.

Before McKinsey & Company, Erika held the position of Senior Financial Controller at NürnbergMesse Brasil (Former Nielsen Business Media) from April 2007 to December 2015. Here, they managed various departments, including finance, accounting, and tax. Erika was responsible for ensuring the accuracy of day-to-day activities such as general accounting, tax, and finance, as well as financial planning, analysis, and cash flow management. Erika also prepared financial reports, managed the P&L, and supported M&A due diligence processes.

Prior to that, Erika worked as a Financial Analyst at Spirax Sarco Indústria e Comércio Ltda from November 2003 to April 2007, and as a Tax Consultant at KPMG Auditores Independentes from August 1999 to December 2001. Erika also gained experience as a Finance Assistant at CPB Commercial Properties from February 1995 to August 1999 and as a Trainee at Caixa Econômica Federal from March 1994 to February 1995.

Throughout their career, Erika has demonstrated their expertise in finance, accounting, tax, and operations, and has shown strong leadership and analytical skills.

Erika E. Aquino Costa has a diverse education history spanning several years. In 1993, they earned an Accountancy Expert certificate from Rui Barbosa College, focusing on accounting. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from UNIB - Ibirapuera University, graduating in 2001. In 2005, Erika completed a Post Graduate program in Accounting and Financial Management at FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado.

In 2016, they obtained a Continuing Studies Certificate in Communication for Professionals - Leadership, Mindfulness & Negotiation from the University of Toronto. During the same year, they also obtained an IELTS Certificate with a score of 6.5 from the Cambridge English Language Assessment.

Recently, from 2021 to 2023, Erika enrolled in the Saint Paul Escola de Negócios where they pursued an Executive MBA (ESMT Berlim) degree. Erika'sfield of study was focused on the International Executive MBA in Leadership and Management.

Additionally, Erika holds a CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade do Estado de São Paulo) certification obtained in July 2005, from an official institution.
