Joel L Bridgewater M.D.

Joel L Bridgewater, MD, is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and tactical medical support. Currently serving as a Physician at Align MD, Joel has held the role of Medical Director for the Franklin County Sheriff's Office since June 2016, overseeing medical support for the Special Operations Unit and serving as a Tactical Medic. Additionally, Joel is the Medical Director for Littleville Fire Department and has volunteered as a firefighter with Russellville Fire Department since December 2015. With experience as an Emergency Physician at Russellville Hospital since November 2013 and a previous position as Attending Physician at Totalhealth Walk-in Clinic, Joel’s educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and an Anesthesiology Residency from the Medical University of South Carolina. Joel also holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Evansville.
