Carol Conroy Dnp

Carol Conroy DNP, RN, FAAN is a distinguished healthcare professional and leader, currently serving as a Fellow at the American Academy of Nursing since October 2019. Conroy holds multiple leadership roles, including Chairperson for the Organization of Nurse Leaders Foundation, Board Member at the Vermont Association of Hospitals and Health Systems, Board Trustee at Southwestern Vermont Healthcare, and Board Member at Southern Vermont College. As the Founder and Consultant of Healthcare Excellence Unlimited, Conroy focuses on inspiring innovations in patient care and providing healthcare consulting and coaching. Conroy has previously served as President of the Organization of Nurse Leaders and held positions as Vice President for Operations and Chief Nursing Officer at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, as well as a Perioperative Leadership Consultant at Bershire Health Systems. Conroy's educational background includes advanced degrees from Regis College and Anna Maria College, along with a BSN from Cornell University New York Hospital School of Nursing.
