Isabela Abad-Ramirez

Isabela Abad-Ramirez, M.B.A. has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2000, they worked at Trendy Looks Boutique where they quickly rose through the ranks to become the Store Manager. In this role, they were responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff, as well as handling customer inquiries and complaints.

In 2014, Isabela joined Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services, where they held multiple roles over the years. Isabela started as a Fiscal Grant Supervisor, overseeing general ledger operations and financial reporting for grants. Isabela was successful in increasing funding for Holocaust survivor services by 300% since 2015 through consistent budget management. Isabela also hired and trained a team of fiscal grant assistants and specialists.

Isabela's success in their previous role led to their promotion to Associate VP of Finance, where they focused on grants management, financial strategy, analysis, and leadership. Isabela excelled in driving fiscal excellence and optimizing financial performance to achieve the organization's goals.

Currently, Isabela holds the position of CFO/VP of Finance at Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring the integrity and transparency of the organization's financial statements. Isabela also provides critical financial analysis and grants management experience to guide the agency's strategic financial direction. Isabela oversees various teams and collaborates closely with the President and CEO, Board of Directors, and Treasurer to ensure a financially sound future for the organization.

Isabela Abad-Ramirez, M.B.A. holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology with a minor in Criminology from Florida Atlantic University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Isabela further pursued their education at the same university, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from 2019 to 2021. Prior to their Bachelor's degree, Isabela also attended Palm Beach State College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree.

In addition to their academic achievements, Isabela has obtained several certifications. Isabela received the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) certification from BDO FMA in November 2022. Isabela also completed a Business and Data Analytics Graduate Certificate from FAU Executive Education in August 2021.
