Jamison Curry

Associate Principal at Rutherford + Chekene

Jamie uses his broad range of experience to help clients create elegant, appropriate and economical solutions to their structural engineering needs. He has been a member of the R+C team for the past 30 years. Before joining R+C, Jamie worked for structural engineering companies in San Francisco, Minneapolis and Anchorage. During his time with R+C, he has been senior structural engineer on a number of the firm’s new construction and renovation projects. Jamie also served a two-year term on the board of directors of the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California.

Jamie managed the structural team for the Cardiovascular Research Building at the UC San Francisco Mission Bay campus, which was designed using integrated delivery with BIM. Other projects include the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science at UC Davis and the CSU Monterey Bay Tanimura & Antle Family Memorial Library. Jamie also has experience with seismic evaluation, retrofit design and structural peer review assignments. His clients have included the California Administrative Office of the Courts, the U.S. General Services Administration, the University of California, and the California State University system.
