Chris Reed

Chris Reed is currently the General Counsel at Rutter's. Prior to that, they served as the Intellectual Property Officer at the University of California, Santa Cruz from June 2017 to September 2019. Before that, they were a Contract Attorney at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) from December 2016 to June 2017. Chris also served as the Senior Engineering Manager at Nokia from May 2003 to April 2011. In addition, they served as the COO and General Counsel at Zenti, Inc. from March 2014 to October 2016. Lastly, they were an Attorney at the United States Senate Permanent Subcomittee on Investigations from December 2012 to March 2014.

Chris Reed earned their Doctor of Law (JD) from Monterey College of Law. Chris also holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University and a certification from the Supreme Court of California as a member of the California Bar. Additionally, they have a certification from multispeak.org as a MultiSpeak Integrator and a certification from the USPTO as a Patent Attorney.
