André Sousa

André Sousa has an extensive work experience in the field of mobile development and software engineering. André started their career in 2010 as a collaborator at Savant, where they worked until December 2013. In December 2010, they also began their PhD studies at FCUP, which they completed in March 2015.

In 2011, André co-founded Iterar and worked as a mobile developer and co-founder until July 2018. During this time, they gained valuable experience in mobile app development and entrepreneurship.

In May 2017, André joined Sherish Connect as a software developer and worked there until July 2019. André contributed to the development of software products and gained further expertise in the field.

In November 2018, André joined Whim as a mobile developer and worked there until January 2020. André played a crucial role in the development of mobile applications.

In December 2015, André co-founded knok healthcare and worked as a co-founder and mobile developer. Their contributions were crucial to the success of the company.

In January 2019, André founded Meraki Dimension, where they assumed the role of Founder. André has been responsible for leading the company and shaping its direction.

In October 2021, André joined Weedmaps as an iOS Engineer and worked until December 2022. André made significant contributions to the iOS development team.

Currently, André is working at ruumi as an iOS Developer, starting in January 2023. André is utilizing their skills and expertise to contribute to the development of mobile applications.

André Sousa obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from Universidade do Porto. André pursued this degree from 2010 to 2015.
