Baldvin Bergsson

Baldvin Bergsson is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Deputy Director of News and Managing Editor of News-related Programs at RÚV since January 2022. Previously, Baldvin held the position of Director of Digital Media and Radio 2 at RUV from August 2015 to January 2022 and worked as a news reporter and program host for Kastljós, an award-winning television news magazine. Baldvin's extensive freelance work includes writing columns on Nordic topics for Kjarninn and producing news segments for Radio 2. Additionally, Baldvin's earlier roles at RUV include hosting The Morning Radio and serving as Deputy Editor in television news. Baldvin holds a Master’s degree in International Political Theory from the University of Edinburgh and has degrees in Human Resource Management and Political Science from the University of Iceland.
