Yue (Shawn) Shen

Shawn Shen has experience working as a Data Scientist I at RVAC Medicines since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at UT/ORNL Center for Molecular Biophysics from August 2018 to April 2023. Yue (Shawn) also has experience as a Research Assistant at the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Metabolism (Shanghai Jiao Tong University) from September 2015 to June 2017.

Yue (Shawn) Shen pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biotechnology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Yue (Shawn) then decided to further their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Statistics and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Yue (Shawn) enrolled at the university in 2017 and is expected to complete both degrees by 2022.
