Marjan Thijssen

Marjan Thijssen has a diverse work experience. Marjan currently works as an HR Recruitment Consultant at Rvdb. Prior to that, they worked at Aethon.nl as an Accountmanager, where they advised clients in the VVT sector on HR issues and implemented customized solutions. Marjan also served as a Talentmanager at Aethon, responsible for the deployment and development of student employees. Marjan has worked as an HR Officer at Rabobank, matching external recruitment forces and maintaining contact with hiring managers. Before that, they gained experience as a Worldtraveler, a HR Advisor at agap2IT Netherlands, and a Fieldmanager HR at Emolife - Field | Event | Online, where they were responsible for recruiting and managing employees. Marjan also held positions as an Administrative Assistant at Cogstate, a Human Resource Officer at Synerlogic B.V., and as an intern in HR roles at Sociale Verzekeringsbank and Penitentiaire Inrichting Vught.

Marjan Thijssen attended Mondriaan College Oss from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained their Havo degree in Cultuur en Maatschappij. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2009. From 2009 to 2011, Marjan attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained their 2nd degree in Human Resource Management. Marjan also holds additional certifications in Yellow Belt Accountmanagement from Aethon.nl, which they obtained in April 2021, and in Time-management anno nu from Tijdwinst.com, acquired in June 2019.
