Alex Distin

Alex Distin has held a number of roles in various industries since 2005. Alex began their career as a Finance Assistant for Teign Housing, where they were also part of the Equality and Diversity team. In 2008, they moved to a role as an Admin/Neighbourhood Services Assistant for Teign Housing. In 2009, they became a Bar Supervisor for Stonegatepubs, followed by an Assistant Manager role at Drift Dining and Bar in 2012. In 2014, they began working as a Customer Services Advisor for Serco Ltd, and in 2015 they were selected to assist in the transition and sale of the easyJet campaign to Webhelp International as a Training Support/Subject Matter Expert. In 2016, they joined Carfinance247 as a Customer Support Executive, and in 2017 they became a Customer Relations Executive for Rentalcars.com. Alex is currently a Trust & Safety Manager at RVezy, where they are responsible for assigning new claims, claim file reviews, interviewing potential new hires, handling escalations, staff scheduling, staff performance reviews, Smart Goal Setting and assisting in business development. Alex also has experience in training new hires.

Alex Distin attended Coombeshead College from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an AVCE in Business and an AVCE in Information and Communication Technology, as well as an AS Level in Mathematics. Alex then attended the University of Portsmouth from 2007 to 2010, where they studied Computing.
