Jean D'Amour Uzarerwa

Jean d'Amour UZARERWA is an experienced Electrical and Automation Specialist at Rwanda Energy Group since June 2014, where duties include maintaining automated power plants, ensuring compliance with network requirements, and providing software modifications for turbine generator and switchgear protection. Prior roles include Electrical Engineer, overseeing the maintenance of electrical equipment and operational compliance, and Electrical Technician at the Energy and Water Sanitation Authority, focusing on hydroelectric plant equipment. Additionally, Jean UZARERWA served as Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor at Angelique International Limited, contributing to the construction of Nyabarongo 1 HPP and managing electrical equipment maintenance. Education includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Burkina Faso Higher Institute of Technologies and an Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rwanda Polytechnic/IPRC Kigali.
