Sophie Penn is an experienced design professional with a diverse background in FF&E design, trend forecasting, and strategic consulting. Currently serving as an FF&E Designer at RWD since October 2020 and as a Colour, Material and Trends Strategic Consultant at Studio Penn since September 2019, Sophie specializes in brand and design strategy, consumer research, and creative direction. Previous roles include Freelance Creative Consultant at WGSN and Creative Lead at forpeople, a leading UK design consultancy, where Sophie contributed to high-profile product and experience design projects. Early career experience includes internships in fashion design with Akira Isogawa and knitted costume design with Theatre Knit. Sophie holds an MDes in Textile Design with Business Studies from the University of Brighton.
