Chris Keggi is a Bioprocess Development Scientist II at RWDC Industries, having progressed from a Bioproduction and Development Scientist I since June 2021. Prior to this, Chris served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Georgia from August 2014 to June 2021, managing microbial fermentation and protein purification projects. As a Ph.D. student in Microbiology at The University of Georgia, Chris conducted research on the pectin-deconstruction system of an insect-associated bacterium, gaining expertise in microbiology, molecular biology, protein expression, and various analytical techniques. Earlier research experience includes an undergraduate position at the Kim-Shapiro Research Lab at Wake Forest University, focusing on the impact of nitric oxide on human erythrocytes. Chris holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wake Forest University.
