Tianai Wang

Tianai Wang is currently a Graduate Research Associate and PhD Candidate at RWTH Aachen University, focusing on numerical modeling of patient-specific vascular flows and employing data analysis and deep learning techniques for cardiovascular pathology prediction. Previous experience includes working as a Research Assistant in Cardiovascular Engineering, where Tianai designed and simulated 3D membranes for an artificial lung and developed empirical correlations for gas transfer. Additional roles at Etg Elektronik GmbH involved support in medical device development and project implementation, while positions at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Roche Diagnostics GmbH contributed to expertise in bioreactor development and manufacturing technology. Tianai holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Medical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
