Shekhar Gupta

Shekhar Gupta has had extensive experience in the software industry, starting with their role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1993 to 1996. Shekhar then worked as a Software Analyst at Data Precision Graphics, Inc. in 1996. From 1997 to 2010, Shekhar worked at Intergraph, first as a System Engineer, then as a Senior System Engineer, and later as a Software Consultant. Shekhar then joined Hexagon Geospatial as a Software Scientist from 2010 to 2017. Shekhar then took on the role of Software Engineering Lead at Solera, Inc. from 2017 to 2020. Currently, they are working as a Software Architect at Vutility, a position they held from 2020 to 2023. Since March 2023, Shekhar has been serving as a Principal Software Architect at RxSense.

Shekhar Gupta completed their education at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. From 1993 to 1998, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Atmospheric Science. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
