Matt Nightingale

Matt Nightingale has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the paper and biotechnology industries. Matt has served as the Director of Business Development at Rayonier Advanced Materials since 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Director Consultant at Spinglass Management Group, where they provided strategic growth plans and turnaround advice to financially distressed companies. From 2014 to 2015, Matt served as the President & CEO of FutureMark Manistique, where they successfully turned around the business through a new market-focused packaging strategy. Matt also held the role of VP Business Development at FutureMark Paper Company from 2011 to 2014. Before that, Matt worked as the VP Marketing at Twin Rivers Paper Company, where they played a key role in the successful restructuring of the business. Matt also worked as the Corporate Director of Market Development at MeadWestvaco, where they led the integration efforts and developed new product strategies, resulting in significant revenue growth. In addition, Matt served as the VP and Chief Business Development Officer at PhycoGen Inc., a biotechnology startup, where they were responsible for commercializing bioadhesion control technology. Matt started their career at Champion International, where they held various leadership roles in marketing and technical services, focusing on business strategy, product management, and customer service.

Matt Nightingale has a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Lawrence University. Matt also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine.
