Darren Givens

Darren Givens has extensive work experience in the field of IT and architecture. Darren most recently worked at Ryan Consulting Group, Inc. as an Enterprise Cloud Architect, where they interpreted business strategy and implemented changes to increase sustainability and prepare for future expansion. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at Salient CRGT, where they managed a design and DevOps team and worked on infrastructure, cloud, and JIE efforts. Darren also worked at J2S Technologies, Ltd as an Infrastructure Architect, where they analyzed enterprise architecture, developed recommendations to simplify directory architecture, and managed PKI infrastructure. Earlier in their career, they worked at Computer Sciences Corporation as an Infrastructure Architect, responsible for evaluating and implementing enterprise-level architecture and infrastructure changes. Throughout their career, Darren has demonstrated expertise in systems architecture and integration, and has consistently worked to ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines.

Darren Givens has a solid education background in computer science and information sciences. Darren obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Claremont McKenna College, which they attended from 1983 to 1987. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Claremont Graduate University, completing their studies from 1987 to 1991.

Additionally, Darren Givens has actively pursued certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of technology. Darren received the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in December 2011. Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications in various subjects, including cloud architecture, cybersecurity foundations, Azure fundamentals, AWS CloudFormation, DevSecOps, and others, from institutions such as LinkedIn, Microsoft, and Cybrary.
