George Khoury

George Khoury has had extensive experience in finance and operations management throughout their career. George started their career as a Group Financial Accountant at Star City Casino, where they managed financial transactions and provided financial advice to stakeholders. George then moved to JacobsRimell as a Group Financial and Management Accountant, where they oversaw financial and management accounts reporting and played a key role in the company's growth through private equity investment.

Afterward, Khoury worked as an Operations Analyst at Star City Casino, analyzing financial performance and implementing streamlined processes for operational improvement. George then joined PwC Australia as a Senior Finance Manager, where they contributed to monthly results, forecasts, budgets, financial analysis, and policy development for the Advisory practice. Khoury later became the Acting Finance Director at PwC Australia, managing finances and operations while leading a team of 12 staff members.

In 2011, Khoury joined PwC US as Finance Director - Assurance FS BAS, responsible for managing the finances and operations of the FS BAS practice, which generated approximately $400m in revenue. George reported directly to the Assurance CFO and the FS BAS Lead Partner.

Most recently, Khoury has been working at Ryan Specialty Group, starting as the RSGUM Divisional Controller in 2017. George then advanced to the role of VP of Operations, Controls, and Carrier Compliance at RSG Underwriting Managers. In 2022, Khoury was promoted to SVP of Operations, Controls, and Carrier Compliance at Ryan Specialty.

Throughout their career, Khoury has consistently demonstrated expertise in finance, operations, and strategic management, making significant contributions to the various organizations they have worked for.

George Khoury obtained their education from the New South Wales Institute of Technical & Further Education, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting and Business from 1991 to 1993. George then pursued a degree in Business with a focus on Accounting & Finance at Western Sydney University from 1997 to 2000. In 2008, they successfully completed the CPA Australia Program, obtaining the CPA Qualification and admission to the Society. Additionally, they received certification from CPA Australia in the same year.
