Nick Leimer

Nick Leimer is an experienced leader in technology and actuarial systems, currently serving as the Senior Technical Leader at Ryan Specialty since February 2024. Prior roles include Senior Director of Technology at Coherent, where innovative solutions were developed to assist insurers in overcoming legacy system limitations, and Principal Industry Lead for Azure at Microsoft, focused on enhancing partnerships within the insurance sector. Nick has also held significant positions at Manulife, AIG, and Lynchval Systems, specializing in cloud-based actuarial environments, IT support for actuarial functions, and technical leadership in actuarial systems. An early career as a Statistician at the Bureau of Labor Statistics and a role as a Manager in the United States Peace Corps provided foundational experience and management skills. Nick holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Iowa State University.
