Waleed Husain

Waleed Husain has extensive experience in risk management and finance. Waleed most recently served as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Ryan Specialty. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Risk Management at Wintrust Financial Corporation, where they implemented various risk management strategies and frameworks. Waleed also served as the Managing Director & Chief Risk Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they focused on credit risk management and portfolio controls. Waleed's early career included roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, State Farm Insurance Inc, Comcast, and Allstate, where they gained experience in supervision and regulation, treasury and risk management, and finance analysis.

Waleed Husain obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, General from the University of Illinois Chicago between the years 2002 and 2006. Waleed has also completed additional certifications such as "Becoming a Leader of Leaders: Pathways for Success" from The Wharton School Executive Education in 2017 and "Board of Governors US Federal Reserve Commissioned Bank Examiner" from the Federal Reserve System in 2014.
