Marsha Wellmann, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Marsha began their career as an Engineer Intern at Burlington Resources in 1997 and later worked as an Engineer Intern at Ocean Energy in 2000. Marsha then joined The Railroad Commission of Texas as an Engineer in 2002 before moving on to the Osborn Heirs Company as a Reservoir Engineer in 2004. From 2010 to 2012, Marsha worked as a Sr. Reservoir Engineer at WildHorse Resources, LLC. Marsha then joined Ryder Scott Co. LP, where they served as a Senior Petroleum Engineer from 2012 to 2018, Vice President from 2018 to 2022, and is currently a Senior Vice President. In their roles at Ryder Scott Co. LP, Marsha performed reserve evaluations for multiple clients in various locations, adhering to U.S. SEC regulations and SPE-PRMS guidelines.
Marsha Wellmann, P.E. completed their education at The University of Texas at Austin. From 1996 to 2002, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Navasota High School, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Marsha also obtained a Business Foundations Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin. In 2013, they furthered their qualifications by achieving the title of Registered Professional Engineer, awarded by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
