Vice President of Engineering at Ryff

Kevin Chaja has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kevin is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Ryff since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Advisor at 5HeadGames, a company specializing in NFT card games. Kevin joined in August 2022 and is still involved with the company.

From 2018 to present, Kevin served as the CEO/Founder of From Zero, LLC, offering contracting services for media and entertainment companies. Kevin also developed software products in areas such as AR/VR, gaming, and cloud-based workflows. In addition, they were the CEO and Founder of Color Black Moment, an augmented reality app focused on autism, mental health, language, and social skills. Color Black Moment was acquired by EQtainment in February 2018.

Kevin worked as a Lecturer at California State University, Northridge from August 2020. Kevin briefly served as the Chief Technology Officer at Gamestar+ from April 2021 to June 2022. From September 2019 to June 2021, they worked as a Senior Prototype Engineer and Product Business Development at The Walt Disney Company. Kevin also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at EQtainment from February to November 2018.

Earlier in their career, they served as the Executive Director of Post Production Technology at Sony Pictures Entertainment from August 2016 to November 2017. Kevin was responsible for developing best practices in workflows, participating in technology selection, and collaborating with vendors. Kevin also worked at Dolby Laboratories as a Professional Support Engineer from November 2015 to July 2016.

Through their diverse experiences, Kevin has gained expertise in engineering, business advising, software development, and technology management.

Kevin Chaja attended California State University, Northridge from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
