Everett Woods has a long and varied career in marketing and business development. In 2021, they founded Rypplzz. From 2016 to 2021, they were the Managing Partner, Sponsorship & Live Event Sales and Advertising at Sponsored By Pro's, where they oversaw the marketing and sales strategies for associations and business coaches nationally, with a focus on non-traditional revenue generation, corporate sponsorship, and year-long partnership deals. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Director, Business Development and Advertising at the Special Libraries Association (SLA), where they were in charge of creating and managing strategic partnerships, conference sponsorship sales, product development, and membership experience enhancement. In 2013, they were an Independent Marketing Consultant and Coach for the Washington D.C. Real Estate Association, where they successfully developed, marketed, and sold coaching programs, DVD courses, and other training materials. Also in 2013, they were a Marketing & Business Consultant at W2 Strategies, where they acquired and maintained 10 business accounts, analyzed client requirements, created business plans, and drove strategy development. In 2011, they took a sabbatical to re-evaluate the alignment of their professional career with their personal life. From 2010 to 2011, they were the Vice President of Development at Taurus Entertainment & Dream Factory Entertainment, where they wrote and produced short-form content, sizzle reels, and image spots, and negotiated co-production deals. From 2008 to 2010, they were the Director of Development at Lightningworks, where they managed all television development, oversaw casting, production, and post of all sales tapes, and developed multiple show ideas.

Everett Woods obtained a Diploma in Theater from Baltimore School of the Arts from 1995 to 1999. Everett then earned a BFA in Filmmaking from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts from 1999 to 2003. Everett also attended New York University - Tisch School for Television Broadcast and Production.
