Marc Bishara began their career in 2011 as a Research Assistant at McMaster University. In 2012, they took on a Vision Engineering Intern role at ATS Automation. In 2014, they worked as a Contractor for C# Windows Development at Kiwi Wearables and as a Hardware Developer at Brizi Inc. Marc then joined RYSE as a Product Development Engineer and progressed to the role of CTO. During their time at RYSE, they oversaw the growth of the team to 9 full-time engineers and wore many hats while leading several products from idea to mass manufacturing. Marc also contributed to the company's achievement of major milestones, including AXIS Gear winning CES motorized product of the year, successfully funding AXIS Gear on Indiegogo, selling over 40K units, the product being granted 3 utility patents and 1 design patent, successfully funding RYSE SmartShade on Kickstarter, and RYSE being awarded a 3.7MM CAD grant from Gov of Canada's SDTC fund.
Marc Bishara attended McMaster University from 2008 to 2014, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechatronics Engineering and Management co-op. Marc also attended The American University in Cairo from 2007 to 2008.
