Jon Ødegård Hansen

Jon Ødegård Hansen has a comprehensive work experience in the energy sector. Jon Ødegård is currently serving as the Head of Energy Scenario Research at Rystad Energy since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy from August 2021 to January 2022. Jon also has experience as an Energy Counselor at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Washington D.C. from September 2018 to August 2021. Jon Ødegård previously held the position of Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy from August 2016 to September 2018. Jon has also worked as an Energy Policy Advisor at the International Energy Agency from October 2013 to August 2016, and as an Advisor at The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy from August 2010 to October 2013. Jon Ødegård began their career with an internship at Norges Bank from September 2007 to November 2007.

Jon Ødegård Hansen completed their Bachelor's degree in Business and Administration at BI Norwegian Business School from 2005 to 2008. Jon Ødegård then pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, in 2009 and 2010, they studied International Business at Tsinghua University, earning an IMBA degree.
