Jim Cousins (Sidney)

Jim (Sidney) Cousins has over 25 years of experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial analysis. Currently serving as a GIS Project Scientist at S.S. Papadopulos & Associates, Inc. since 1999, Jim specializes in the design and maintenance of geographic databases, data visualization, and groundwater model data manipulation, employing Python programming to enhance efficiency and reliability. Prior roles include Project Manager at Comm Site International, Inc., where Jim managed a proprietary 3D software product, and Senior GIS Specialist at LCC International Inc., focusing on demographic and land use data for telecommunications design. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Cartography from the University of Maryland.
