George Chimbuzi

George Chimbuzi has extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. George currently holds the position of Head of HR at SA Taxi, where they have been since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Group Head of Talent Acquisition for SA Taxi starting June 2022.

Before joining SA Taxi, George worked at Thales, where they held the position of Chief Executive Officer from September 2017 to September 2020. George also served as an HR Director at Thales from January 2012 to August 2017.

George's earlier experience includes working as an HR Operations Manager at Group Five Construction from September 2008 to December 2011, and as a Country HR Manager at Ecolab from February 2006 to August 2008. George also held the position of HR Operations Manager at Joy Global Inc from January 2005 to January 2006.

George began their career at Rand Water as an HR Manager from January 2000 to December 2004. Prior to this, they were an HR Officer at Standard Bank Group from October 1994 to December 1999.
