Martin Johansson

Martin Johansson is a seasoned engineer and manager with extensive experience in avionics, electrical installation design, and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) development. Currently serving as the Manager of Avionics and Electrical Installation Design at Saab since May 2018, Martin leads a team in integrating electrical and mechanical systems for the Gripen fighter system. Prior experience includes roles as Platform Owner at CybAero, where responsibilities involved transforming functional requirements into technical specifications and coordinating development projects, and as a Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager, focusing on sub-system development for UAV platforms. Martin's consulting background at Knightec AB involved work on the CV90 vehicle for BAE Systems and participation in a trainee program to enhance project management and consulting skills. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University, with additional studies at Hamburg University of Technology. Martin's master's thesis on automating production processes was presented at the Swerea Sicomp Conference in 2013.
