Palmér Magnus

Palmér Magnus has extensive work experience in the field of communications and marketing. Palmér began their career in 1988 as an Engineer at FFV Aerotech AB and then moved on to become a Marketing Manager at Celsius Aerotech AB. In 2002, they joined AerotechTelub AB as a Marketing Manager, where they focused on supporting the organization with marketing communications, business development, strategy development, and contract management. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Marketing Communications Manager at Saab Systems, Saab AB, where they had global responsibility for the business unit Saab Systems Events and web communication.

In 2009, Palmér joined Saab AB, Business Area Dynamics as a Marketing Communications Manager and later became the Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs. In this role, they were responsible for various communication activities and projects, including trade shows and communication productions with a special focus on Civil Security. From 2010 to 2013, they served as the Head of Communication for business area Dynamics within Saab AB, overseeing all internal, external, and marketing communication activities.

Most recently, Palmér served as the Senior Communications Manager and Director of Public Affairs at Saab AB, Business Area Dynamics. In this position, they were responsible for leading the communication efforts and managing a team of five individuals. Furthermore, Palmér Magnus holds board member positions at Västra Bergslagens Industriförening, Örebro Airport, and Alfred Nobels Björkborn Foundation.

Palmér Magnus has a diverse education background. Palmér obtained a Technical Graduate degree in Telecommunications from Rudbecksskolan in 1989. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Örebro University from 1990 to 1994. In 1994, they attended Plymouth Business School, where they completed a University degree in Business Administration. Palmér also attended Berghs School of Communication in 2005, focusing on Communication Management. In 2008, they completed the Personal Leadership Program at IHM Business School. Continuing their professional development, they joined the Swedish Association of Communication Professionals, where they participated in the Communication Mentoring Program in 2012-2013 and the Mentorship Program for Managers in 2016. Finally, in 2017, Palmér Magnus became a Certified Board Member after their participation in the Swedish Academy of Board Directors program.
