Rachael Nightingale

Rachael Nightingale is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications, Marketing and Media Manager at SAAFE CRC since November 2022. Previously, Rachael worked at the University of Adelaide as the Communications and Events Manager from April 2018 to October 2022. A career break occurred from September 2016 to March 2018, during which Rachael relocated from Melbourne to Adelaide, renovated a house, and became a parent. Prior roles include National Communications Manager at Officeworks, Head of Media and Communications at SPC Ardmona, and Consumer Communications Manager at Coles. Rachael’s earlier career features positions at Oxfam Australia, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Fenton Communications Australia, and Hill Dickinson LLP, focusing on media relations, corporate communications, and strategic marketing across various sectors. Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Australia and a Public Relations Diploma from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
