Satu Virtanen

Satu Virtanen has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Satu started their career at Tampere University of Technology (TUT) in 1997, where they worked as an Accounting Analyst before being promoted to Finance Manager. At TUT, they were responsible for financial planning and controlling, project management, and heading the Financial Planning and Research Department. Satu then moved on to Huurre Group, where they served as a Business Controller and Financial Manager. In this role, they were involved in accounting and ERP system projects, as well as managing the company's finance administration. Virtanen then joined Suominen Corporation as a Group Controller, focusing on group finance, annual accounts, and reporting systems. Satu'smost recent position was at Saarioinen, where they held the roles of Group Finance Manager and later Group CFO, overseeing group finance and reporting.

Satu Virtanen earned a Master of Science in Economics with a specialization in Financial and Management Accounting from the University of Tampere from 1989 to 1994.
