Ellen Lewis Schwader

Research Associate of Antigen Production at SAB Biotherapeutics

Ellen Lewis Schwader has a diverse work experience in the fields of technical communication, antigen production, tissue engineering, and medical research. Ellen is currently working at MANITOU Group as a Technical Communication Creator. Prior to that, they were a Research Associate of Antigen Production at SAB Biotherapeutics, where they developed production processes for the controlled production of antigen used for the inoculation of transchromosomic bovine. Ellen also served as a co-project lead for bioreactor systems experimentation and data interpretation. Before that, Ellen worked as an Engineering Intern of Tissue Products and OEM Services at TissX, where they processed bovine tissue for the creation and testing of bioprosthetic devices, analyzed transcatheter heart valves, and ensured quality requirements were met. Ellen began their career as a Student Assistant at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Ellen Lewis Schwader pursued their education at the University of Minnesota from 2017 to 2021. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
