Mudassar Ijaz

Mudassar Ijaz is a highly experienced chemical engineer with a strong background in process engineering and leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Lead Scientist for LDPE at SABIC since January 2024, Mudassar previously held positions at SIPCHEM from August 2013 to April 2024, where responsibilities included leading technical exchange meetings with ExxonMobil and Hanwha Chemical, and specializing in EVA/LDPE tubular reactor simulation and economic evaluation. Prior to SIPCHEM, Mudassar worked at Engro Fertilizers Limited as a Process Engineer focusing on ammonia production, leading various catalyst-related projects and serving as a Process Safety and Risk Management Coordinator. Mudassar began the career as an intern at Dawood Hercules Chemicals Ltd. and holds a B.E. in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Petroleum and Gas Refinery from the University of the Punjab.
