Cory Wilson, J.D., CCBCO

Cory Wilson, J.D., CCBCO has worked for a number of organizations since 2004. From 2004 to 2005, they were a Law Clerk at the Louisiana Department of Justice. From 2005 to 2007, they were an Attorney at Corkern, Crews & Guillet, L.L.C. During this time, they assisted senior counsel in handling the defense of claims and civil actions against a national automobile and fire/casualty insurer, as well as a public-private corrections facility. From 2007 to 2008, they were an Attorney at James Rex Fair, Jr., APLC. During this time, they provided legal representation to clients. From 2008 to 2010, they were an Adjunct Instructor of Constitutional Law and U.S. Government at Northwestern State University. From 2010 to the present, they have been working at Sabine State Bank and Trust Company, holding roles such as VP and Executive Officer, Deposit Operations Manager and Counsel, VP, Deposit Operations Manager and Counsel, VP, Deposit Operations Counsel, and Associate General Counsel / Assistant Compliance Officer / Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer. In this role, they have represented the bank in all phases of foreclosure litigation and other civil litigation, as well as in U. S Bankruptcy Court proceedings.

Cory Wilson obtained their J.D. from the Southern University Law Center between 2002 and 2005. Cory then obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration from Northwestern State University between 1996 and 2001. In 2014, Cory Wilson obtained a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer (CCBCO) certification from the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA).
