Christopher Thomas

Christopher Thomas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in maritime safety and inspection. Currently serving as a Staff Surveyor/Auditor at Sabine Surveyors, Ltd. since May 2022, Christopher previously dedicated over three decades to the U.S. Coast Guard, culminating in the role of Advanced Journeyman Marine Inspector CWO4. In this capacity, Christopher was integral to training new inspectors and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and international maritime safety treaties. Early roles included serving as an Apprentice Marine Inspector CWO2, Engineering Petty Officer, and Chief Machinery Technician, showcasing expertise in marine engineering systems and departmental leadership. Christopher's educational background includes completion of studies at Matoaca High School in Virginia.
