David Pereira

David Pereira has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David began their career in 1981 as a Deck Officer for the International Organization of Masters, Mates, & Pilots, where they worked until 1986. In 1982, David joined the US Army Corps of Engineers as a Master Hopper Dredge until 1991. David then worked for Sabine Surveyors as a Vice President from 1991 until 2016, when they assumed the role of President. From 2003 to 2006, David served as the Manager of Operations for Sai Gulf.

David Pereira attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nautical Science. Prior to that, they studied at De La Salle High School in New Orleans from 1972 to 1977. In addition to their formal education, David also holds a certification as a Certified Marine Surveyor from the National Association of Marine Surveyors.
