Eduardo Hermida

Eduardo Hermida has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and voicebot technology. Eduardo began their career as a Consultant at Indra from December 2005 to May 2008. Eduardo then worked as an IVR & Contact Center Consultant at Nortel Networks / Avaya from May 2008 to October 2009.

Following that, Eduardo joined VISEO IBERIA in November 2009 and held multiple roles within the company. From October 2010 to February 2020, they worked as an IVR consultant, developer, and Project Manager, leading various IVR projects and teams at Isban and Sovereign Bank. From June 2013 onwards, they served as the IVR Manager and head of the IVR team within the IVR/CC center of excellence. Additionally, since November 2016, Eduardo has been responsible for IVR, chatbot, and voicebot solution design as well as acting as a technical reference within the Omnichannel & Processes area.

In 2020, Eduardo joined Santander Global Tech as an Expert CC & IVR & Virtual Assistant Solutions Engineer. In this role, they specialized in voicebot and IVR solution design and integration within the Contact Center as a Service Platform and Virtual Assistants Platform teams. Eduardo provided technical expertise and led the integration between both platforms, holding the position until April 2021.

From April to September 2021, Eduardo worked as the Voicebot & Chatbot Project Manager at Fonetic, where they managed projects related to voicebot and chatbot technology.

Currently, Eduardo Hermida is employed at Sabio as the Bots as a Service (BaaS) Technical Head. Eduardo started this role in September 2021 and was subsequently appointed as the Bots Support Manager in June 2022. The duration of their current role is ongoing, as no end date is specified.

Eduardo Hermida attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Informática. This degree was an Ingeniero Superior, indicating that they pursued advanced studies in the field of computer science.
